What was previously speculation has finally come to pass. Converse files chapter 11. Guess I didn't stock up for nothing.

Hey, it's only Chapter 11. That means reorganization. It's Chapter 7 that would be official suckitude.

Are we going to want the shoes that come from overseas plants? This has happened before, and the quality was very un-Chuck-like.

That's my concern, frykitty. I got 4 pair of the gen-u-ine article for my birthday, but I'm gonna stock up on a few more before the legit ones are gone.

God damn. I only hope I can find some over here (UK) before they all disappear. Ten years. 4 pairs.
At one point I had a pair with "eat boot scum" written on one toe.
And on the other?
"See other foot."
I thought it was funny at the time.
