Anyone? A little help? There are some pressing questions over at AskMeFi that need some immediate attention. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

No wiki this year? Thought the Justin Timberlake and the tornado questions were pretty funny (though the kitten in the python is good too).

aside: I hate April Fools Day on the internet; not many sites do good jokes; MeFi seems to be the only site with funny jokes.

You missed the Mecha/Meta threads, didn't you?

When you post the april fools joke 5 minutes after midnight it kind of ruins it for anyone else who might be fooled by it (somehow, people are still fooled). Not to mention that posting about mefi in the blue is kind of frowned upon.

Umm... guys? It's a joke.

I'm assuming that all April 1 Ask MeFi questions are hoaxes, and will be posting "answers" accordingly. Take that, how-do-I-get-candlewax-off-my-CRT guy!

It's a hoax? Darn, I was interested in the Wookie question.

Have you stopped beating your wife, yet? (OSX 10.3, if that helps.)

Okay, that one made me laugh pretty hard.

I thought April Fool's were supposed to be witty or funny, not retarded.

I suppose if Matt deletes this someone else will post it ten minutes later. Amazing what some people feel called upon to do. But it's the helpful 'Prank' tag that really completes this.

Umm... guys? It's a joke.

This is where we say: No shit, Sherlock!

I'm sure no one missed the tag, Prank, with a capital P.

I've recently finalized the sale of a long-running community website to a major media conglomerate. I have not yet told the users. Should I embed a veiled admission in a jokey April Fool's page so that I can point to it later and claim that, technically, I *did* warn them?

We may as well turn this into the generic "April Fool's web page" thread.

The answer button's not working, but I have an answer for the big guy. Tell her you have stomach cancer. Then, she'll fell like a jerk for being so mean to you, and she'll want to date you. Then, you can tell her that hummers cure cancer.

Thanks for ruining the joke.
