May the Force Be with You, Dude!

Han Solo's Axe is a Gibson 335 with covered humbuckers. Jar Jar on Banjo, of course. Perhaps you'd rather have Yoda on your beast instead of in your band. Maybe when you rock out you just need a little extra force in your pick, knob, or guitar case . Just remember, Darth Maul throws the horns 24/7.

Don't forget this brilliant painting!

As a fan of the original trilogy and rock, I can comfortably say that having Yoda on a guitar, or Vader tuning pegs, is pure ANTI-ROCK.

I'm sorry, but C-3P0 does NOT get to play with my axe. He's a little delicate and picky. He needs a PRS or one of those Vai Yamahas or something.

Parker Fly is a good choice for Anakin. Total whiney bitch ax. Something over-priced you get your parents to buy you even though you can't play. Another good candidate for the 7-string GEM.

The other choices? Pretty good.

(You have a gold-top Les Paul psmealey? A vintage one? Can I come over and play it?)

I thought R2 played the bass. In space. On a moon base.

I was hoping they'd throw an old school Kramer Voyager in there or maybe the THE FUCKING REAPER.

Uh, so racist. Wookies always get stuck playing the bass.

or

Ha, wookie playing the bass, awesome!

I thought to myself, "Vader better play a Flying V." Good on 'em.

That's great! Darth maul with an SG.

Good post!

Tho... wouldn't Eddie Van Halen's "Frankenstein" guitar be more appropriate for Solo?

"She may not look like much... but I've added a few modifications myself."

Kessel run in 12 par-secs, that's your Hot For Teacher solo, ya?

Shouldn't Admiral Ackbar have a drum kit? You know, a trap?

Admiral Ackbar? He's no (Keith) Moon.

Great post, BTW!

It's faux vintage. It's a 1954 reissue (with the soap bar pickups) that I bought in 2000. It's my favorite guitar ever.

Oh bondcliff... that was terrible.

I read that as "Han Solo's Axe is a Gibson covered with 335 humbuckers" and was trying to figure out a suitable arrangement for such a setup. The non-dyslexic version is a lot easier to picture

Wow, that was... exhaustive. And once I got what they were doing, I knew that the SG would match up with Darth Maul.

And I so want one of those Shure 55SH microphones. I just don't have any use for one, and I can't see spending that much money on something just because it's neat looking.

Damn, that was hilarious! When they started getting down to guys like IG-88 and Boskk they convinced me of their genius.

THIS.
IS.
GOOD.

I never thought about it before, yet somehow I've always known, Chewbacca plays bass.

Seriously. I don't ever remember the last time I thought about IG-88 and Bossk.

I had both of their action figures, though.

Bossk isn't on the list.

(Leia dressed as) Boushh is.

Also, I apparently rock like Mr. Maul.

Schlimmbesserung, I've always felt the SG was one of the coolest guitars that could be had.

And not just because Angus Young plays one.

Though that does help.

Bossk isn't on the list.

Look about 2/3rds down the page. He plays a Gretsch Duo Jet double cutaway.

chimaera writes "Bossk isn't on the list. "

They misspelled his name as Boskk. The picture is pretty unmistakable, though.

The first link made me indescribably happy. Makes me want to buy a plane ticket back to my hometown just to spend a few more happy hours playing my best friend's dad's 335.
