"Pay no attention to the shameless hussy on the bicycle."

This web site details how to construct a high performance bicycle lighting system. Also contains information on bells, horns, dynamo powered lights, and other safety devices (Warning! This site contains a small fair amount of nudity!)
I think the update date is wrong: from all available HTML evidence, the year is off by exactly a decade.

hehe, the custom is to put the parenthesis "(NSFW)" after the link itself. Please help to keep me employed.

The improperly installed rear rack is just asking for trouble.

This cyclist, riding a reproduction of a classic cruiser, is not serious about riding at night despite the battery powered light on the front fender and her cycling cap hanging on the handlebars. It almost looks like she's posing.

A lot of the information I saw seems to already be dated. (Though it's not really the author's fault, much of this technology is less than a year or two old.)
But now-a-days, you can pick up a 3watt LED headlamp that will be just as bright as the high-end xenon kits that will run considerably longer on standard (non-lithium) batteries.
Realizing that the xenon lamp on my handlebars just chewed through batteries, I gave up and bought a $25 3watt headlamp that I mounted to my helmet. I find it to be a much better choice for illuminating where I'm going, particularly in that it lights up where I'm going to be, not where my handlebars are currently pointing.

Actually, I'm at work so I had to turn off the pictures. I fully expect when I get home, to laugh my ass off at my earlier attempt to find value in a booby/ tech site when you can't see the boobies.
