A history of perpetual motion machines

The Museum of Unworkable Devices, (posted previously) contains an excellent link to a history of perpetual motion machines.
There was an episode of MythBusters that dealt with perpetual motion machines which was a lot of fun. I think the machine made outta propane tanks was the best idea. I wonder whatever happened to that thing?
