Oh, Yeah - via ColdChef, who apparently would rather email all the good stuff to his friends and acquaintances instead of posting them on MetaFilter.

LOL... the sound effects are great... especially when a line clears.

I thought for sure this was a double, but that's a different kind of human tetris. We've seen the human space invaders though.

I prefer the other kind of human tetris.

Ha! Best of the web! I don't think I need to look at youtube this year after that clip.

While I have nothing but respect for the effort and planning that went into this project, that guy is absolutely shit at playing Tetris.

Whew! When I saw tehloki's comment, I assumed that his "other kind of human Tetris" link was to that video where he's doin' my mom.

I'm not ColdChef's friend?

Truth be told, I sent that to yhbc's wife, he just happened to be snooping in her inbox.*

At 1:09, why does the white person on the left go down two spaces after the line clears? Shouldn't they only drop down one line? Or am I remembering Tetris completely wrongly?

Yeah; he's not my friend, he's my wife's friend! Check your inbox for a summons, ya bastad!

We only use one inbox for both accounts. Really!

Amazing Tetris Grand Master Skills

Psssh. He has a hold box! It's not Tetris until you play with what you get.

I know I have a problem because when I saw the bad plays coming I couldn't stop thinking, "Noooo! Don't put that THERE!!! Over to the left! OVER TO THE LEFT!!!"

chrismear, I thought that too. Now I feel less like I'm the only one who played way too much Tetris as a child.

I was going to comment on the physics error at 1:09 too. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's glad they're not the only one who noticed it.
