Sorcerer's Stone re-imagined.

Brad Neely, the cerebral and arguably moderately psychotic comic artist, has re-imagined Harry Potter via his dry voiceover to accompany Sorcerer's Stone. This is serious nerdcore HP business and an absolute must for both fans of the series and of verbose wordsmithery.

I love Wizard People. This should almost not be deleted, so that others may come to know and enjoy Harry Fuckin' Potter, Ronnie the Bear and the Wretched Harmony's adventures. And yet it must be deleted.

Uhm... A 'double' that's three years old is completely acceptable in my book. Just sayin'. In fact I tire of the whole double fiasco argument. I understand reluctantly if it's been less than a month, but if it's been over a year, don't have a cow.

Harry: the New God, the Beautiful Animal. And, "We fucking go to school here." What a movie.

i suppose that Id like to think that the sheer genius of this lends itself to being reposted every four years for others to discover easily rather than digging through archives.

You can find it on YouTube. I was ... underwhelmed. It's insufficiently hostile for good satire.

I've been looking for this, so thanks.
However: We think Neely has crafted an as-of-yet-unnamed new art form...
Joel Hodgson would like a word.

I tried doing something like this for Blair Witch Project, but gave up when I realized I'd be the only one who found it funny.

Well, it's not satire... I think that's your problem.

It isn't satire, but I can't figure out what it's supposed to be. I made it part way through chapter 2 on YouTube, realized I hadn't laughed once, and quit. Does it get funnier, or should I just accept it's not my cup of tea and give up?

I showed this to my girlfriend a couple of days ago. She was sadly unimpressed.

The quidditch game is the highlight. If you don't find that funny, then it's not for you.

I feel like it's most effective when sitting down, matching up the audio and video manually and watching the movie as a movie - not as a hilarious YouTube video.
