Better version of same idea (but without pictures): Kerry's running mate.

I would support the Barack Obama/Kcarab Amabo ticket. Kcarab Amabo is just a pretty cool name, evil or not.

I'm betting on Hillary.

Pater: You know what his middle name is, though, right?
Niessuh.

There's no way an Amabo could get elected in Airoaep, not in a post 11/9 world.

Obama/Kitty '08!

Wow, even in this joke line up there aren't any women. Unless the kitty is a girl.

Holy cow, I would've been happy to vote for Wes Clark for President, and if Obama picks him to be VP, my enthusiasm in that vote will only increase.

But I also know that I'd vote for Obama/Kitty. I mean, really. Kitty!

Yep, it's Kitty or go home as far as I am concerned.

(Speaking as an outside observer,) I like Sebelius.

DHinMI at Kos makes the Gore case.

Better than expected. I'll go with alternate-dimension Evil-goatee Barack as running mate. Or perhaps shirtless Sulu.

Considering that if you lose Florida you lose the election, how about one of the senators from there. Bill Nelson is a democrat and the dude has even been to space.

Obama/Google 08: We're both really cool and from the future and stuff and you like us so much that in the back of your mind you worry that the mountain folk are right and we are secretly the antichrist. But we're not!

I'm guessing Napolitano.

That it'll be a woman is almost a given. It won't be a cynical response to Hillary's presence, it'll just be because Obama can get a woman in. Americans want a woman in there, so why wouldn't Obama do it? It's change and it's just the appropriate, nice thing to do right now. Being the strongest Democratic politician of my lifetime, he doesn't really need to shore up the ticket at all. Nobody really votes for somebody based on Veep. At least not predictably or in any numbers. Now, keep in mind Sebelius screwed up the response to the State of the Union, and one thing you can't do is make distractingly bad speeches on an Obama ticket. She's probably out for now. She'll be back. With Napolitano, you get a competent, popular woman governor (no lost congressional seats - this is crucial, forget about any senators or congressional seats, after MI-01 Democrats are looking at a possible 60 votes in the Senate and no Veep is worth losing that). And with Napolitano, you make McCain think he has to defend Arizona, so he'll waste money.

Forget about Gore, Clinton, Edwards, Dodd, Richardson. None of them make sense. They're just distractions that Obama doesn't need to deal with.

Obama/Kitty Forman?

As an Arizonan, I'd be insanely enthusiastic about an Obama/Napolitano ticket. It might even put Arizona back in play; even the rightest of right-wing Arizonans give our governor grudging respect.

This is so, like, totally not as good as some of MightyGodKing's earlier stuff. Like that Rick James skit.

I'm all about the Obama/ Cooper '08 ticket.

They could play Welcome to my Nightmare whenever they talked about the current war in Iraq, and Hey Stoopid, when talking about the present administration.

And naturally, Schools Out when they won.

Ever listen to Alice Cooper's radio show? I'm not always crazy about his song choices, but I love listening to him. He is witty, self-deprecating, and as insanely knowledgeable about music. I only have the remotest of ideas about his politics, but I'd love to have a VP who could tell me who was the sound engineer on Moby Grape's debut album without having to look it up on the Internet.

Also, I forgot that Hillary is not (yet) a cartoon character...

This piece about Obama's VP is offensively premature, by the way.

I think we already have a VICE PRESIDENT Cheney and he can give up office when he's damn well good and ready and we don't need some LIEberal from Canadia talking about replacing our government.

No one’s mentioned Jesse Ventura for VP. That would throw rednecks everywhere into a relentless mind bending spiral of cognitive dissonance, which would be OK because they don’t know what cognitive dissonance is. Besides, Obama/Ventura has a nice alliterative ring to it.

And I would vote for any man who ain't got time to bleed.

Or he could nominate the Iron Sheik.

I hear he's a secret non-Muslim, though

Gov. Janet Napolitano would be awesome because then she could play with Concrete Blonde at the inauguration.

I agree with the Obama/Gore ticket. Obama/Oprah would be the sheeiiit(department of peace, is the rumor.) Obama/Clarke is excellent. Obama/Powell. Obama/Gore...Just-wow. Never thought of that one. That's my shit right there!

Yes.. Obama/Ventura, or visa versa. They're both more honest sounding than most I've seen. And they're both funny as hell. Obama/Kitty. that would end up in sex. Remember Darden/Clark? I have no idea what the mind bending blah blah blah is, and I'm not a red neck. I'm a slacker, and just am even too lazy to look it all up right now. Obama/Venture sounds powerful. So many good choices.

Obama/Graham. Bob Graham has never lost an election in Florida - and he has a few stints as a "big state" governor under his belt to shore up the ticket's "Executive Experience" talking points - and he's popular with southern centrists. (Blue Dogs, NASCAR Dads and Swing Voters)

But, more importantly, Bob Graham has never lost an election in his home state. That point bears repeating. If the Dems can lock down FL, they win. Game over.
