A lone rebel against relentless Seattle yuppification Edith Macefield died two weeks ago at the age of 86. She refused to leave her tiny home in a filthy industrial Ballard neighborhood, saying "No" to a nearly million-dollar buyout offer from a developer. "I don't want to move. I don't need the money. Money doesn't mean anything," she told the news reporters last October.
