Australian short film - I Love Sarah Jane 'Jimbo is 13. All he can think about is one girl, Sarah Jane. And no matter what stands in his way - bullies, violence, chaos, zombies - nothing is going to stop him from finding a way into her world.' NSFW - swearing and gore. SLYT.

Contains zombies. And is therefore awesome.

I like that. The explosion was stupid, but other than that, I'd like to see more from this world.

Why do you hate America?

(To reword the above: I meant more, what kind of monster doesn't like explosions?)

Nice.

But let me say that QOOB has what I think is the most annoying logo I've ever seen. Yo, you want people to pay attention to the movie, stop putting things that blink and slide up in the corner!

That was fun but it suffers from something I've noticed plenty of times on YouTube: The audio level is too damn low. Why? Give me some volume so I don't have to jack my speakers to the max just to hear the dialogue.

I jacked my speakers to the max and still couldn't hear the TV dialogue. I was trying to work out what was being said from the subtitles, and noticed how they censored the swear words even though they were being said in English. F**king stupid (vaffunculo stupido).

That said, I enjoyed it, they did a better job than some of the feature length zombie movies I've seen.

And just for once, I'd like to see the zombies win one.

That was awesome. The post-apocalyptic zombie world setting is so much of a convention at this point that it doesn't need to be explained within the film.

"sometimes I get sad thinking about fish"

This is so beautifully shot, the minimalist dialogue is great, all the really important things are said with facial expressions.

I also love the theme of "in a fucked up situation, kids are forced to become nihilistic adults, but do so imperfectly." The curly-haired kid drinking beer and talking about stain remover is priceless.

They might not win the fight, but they always win the war.

Slightly better quality video here (and no blinky logo).

Sarah Jane was my favorite Doctor Who Companion of the Old Era. There's a reason she got a spin-off show thirty years later. And no one else should be named Sarah Jane. Sorry. That's the way I feel.

Yeah, I was gonna add a clip of the 'real' Sarah Jane into the post, but kinda forgot... here you go
