The bacon-and-fried-egg scarf. The Bad Clam. First Prize. Some tasty dreams, but mostly nightmares, are made of the abominations and inspired works found by the bloggers of Craftastrophe. [via MoFi]

I would pay 100 quatloos to see someone wearing a knit cap that was designed to look like clam chowder.

Okay, this barrette makes me sad that I have short hair.

I found the "Stop Cyber Bullying" ads deliciously ironic.

The baby head bowls scared me. I am not afraid to admit that either. Me/does a full body shake.

Who needs a scarf when you can get the tattoo?

That last story reminds me of something a local tattoo parlor had/has - discount tattoos, as desired by the artist. There were a few designs that the tattoo artists wanted to make, and the first person who offered themselves got a discount on the implementation.

That said, I rather like the spooky baby hands-as-feet thing. The faces are just spooky. I can only think of someone plunging their live baby into a cast. Or they just have some spooky obsession with/fear of babies.

jessamyn - is it me, or is that made of lint? And dung colored lint at that? Ehhh - just keep your peter in your pants when hunting. I've heard of the thrill of the kill, but you do have to whip it out after the headshot?

/me convulses at the thoughts

The Meat Bust
The meat bust was more or less intentional, because I do not actually have the talent or patience to make attractive items out of Sculpy. I was going to a Christmas party and felt, at the last minute, that I should provide gifts for the hostess and her boyfriend. I made the boyfriend some horribly uneven dice, and I created that “bust” of the hostess.
If you received this as a gift would you:
a) Scream, flush it down the toilet, and then take two Zolofts
b) Pluck the baby Jesus out of the manger, and replace him with the meat bust
c) Regift it

Holy fucking shit.

I'll be hiding under my bed if anyone needs me.

Zippy, I went searching, without any luck, for that knit cap; but, (um, Space Kitty, are you back out from under the bed? Well, these aren't too bad....) noticing the 'babyheads' tag, I found that they are quite popular....

d) Marinade for a few hours in wine, soy sauce and garlic, then barbeque it.
