'Hologram' then photosynth, looks like CNN is trying to jazz up the news. This is cool, but I'm not heartened about their next step.

Apparently Microsoft thought photosynth was like the most amazing thing ever, they even feature it in their TV ads for Vista, as if people should update their OS just to get a cheesy utility.
