"I am researching the extraordinary history of the West's relationship to Afghanistan over the past 200 years. It is a very complex, and sometimes weird, story. These are notes on some of the characters and episodes involved." A work in progress by Adam Curtis - Kabul: City Number One. Part One, and Part Two.
Do the videos work for anyone else outside the UK? It's too bad he hosts his "website expressing my personal views" behind the BBC firewall.

How to watch BBC iPlayer outside the UK.
I love Curtis' work, I'm really looking forward to seeing these. I haven't been able to get success with the above instructions (I understand they've worked for others, it's a PEBCAC issue) but I'm hoping some kind UKer will post to google video or similar.
