France says Scientology is a fraud The BBC has now reported that France has found the CoS to be fraudulent. They can't shut them down though due to loophole in new law.

Unlike the US, France has always refused to recognise Scientology as a religion, arguing that it is a purely commercial operation designed to make as much money as it can at the expense of often vulnerable victims...

but i thought you said they didn't recognize it as a religion oh snap

You know what the tragically under-recognized PE album is, though... I was just listening to it the other day, and it kicks all kindsa ass up and down the block: Muse Sick-N-Hour Mess Age. I swear, it's their masterpiece. Criminally underrated.
