Obama Deception censored. Last week the documentary film "The Obama Deception" had more than six million views on the ChangeDaChannel Youtube channel. Today it is gone. The channel's owner calls it a "hacking" and says other videos also disappeared down the memory hole.
"The film, which has been attacked before, was censored at a critical time. Just one day before on Friday’s broadcast, Alex challenged activists to drive “Obama Deception” up in the search engines. Only a few hours later, Google trends rankings revealed that it was the #1 search term, above Lindsay Lohan, the BP Oil Spill or the death of George Steinbrenner. What’s more, the viewcount grew by nearly 100,000 in that same single day, demonstrating the accelerated attention the film has been receiving."

It seems like three things are possible:
1. Google has decided to finally initiate the plan to stifle all conservative speech that it's been cooking up for all these years, and The Obama Deception is the opening salvo.
2. Some bored hacker decided to take the time and energy to figure out this guy's password and delete the videos so that...?
3. This whole thing is made up, and he's just trying to drum up controversy in order to get to people who otherwise would never have heard of it.
Which could it be?

Let us not forget that the Bildeburgers are wily and cunning, with their nimble little fingers and sharp little brains, and will stop at nothing to temporarily remove incomprehensible Alex Jones clip-videos from YouTube the very moment before the International Bankers' maseter scheme was about to be unravelled once and for all!

Regardless of what random asshat hacked him (to blame 4chan seems a bit vague, it's like blaming fox news for what one of its listeners does) (assuming he was hacked), I was tickled to hear someone seriously talking about 'these cats'.

This post does not belong on MetaFilter. It's not "censoring", the FPP asserts and injects facts, and it looks like it's written in a way to get even more search traffic for what's basically Loose Change for 2010.

Maybe someone tried to pull some shady SEO nonsense and Google pulled the video in retaliation? They don't take too kindly to Adsense gaming, and now that YouTube is monetized I assume they're following a similar policy.

To be honest, I didn't really want to say anything. I closed the window twice without posting, but just couldn't shake the fact that this FPP gives that nutball even more Googlemass. (I believe Maxwell worked out the Googlemass attraction equations sometime before he died, even though he didn't know what Google was at the time.)

No, seriously, this is not censoring. He probably had a bad password (my bet is "trustno1") and someone random guy logged in and deleted the videos. No big conspiracy.
