I'm disappointed by the lack of dancing.

You will definitely give up if you try it in Hard mode.

I did. Too hard for me. I can never summon sufficient co-ordination skills for these running, jumping and some-other-thinging games. Sign of age and decay, I suspect.

Cute. I gave up when it kept hanging for a second or so every now and then, though.

Bleep!

I once had a dream Kratos was a tiny little pixel robot and those damned levels just wouldn't end wouldn't end wouldn't end ...

By Matt Thorson, the indie developer behind An Untitled Story, the Jumper series, MoneySeize, and RunMan. He's also working on a sequel to this.

It kind of reminds me of Tower of Heaven but in technicolor and not as great music.

Level 50 is brutal. I've put more time into it than the rest of the levels combined.

You're my best friend, robot.

I'm pretty good at these sorts of things. And yet, around level 41, I got this profound sense of depression. Trying to swing a little collage of pixels around increasingly arbitrary and frustrating landscapes while the same atonal music plays in the background constantly and a distorted voice mocks you every time your robot bites it... yeah, this is why the arcades died out. It's not fun. It's just obnoxious.

Money Sieze was great. What's with the jumpy, mushy controls on this, though? Is that supposed to be how robots control themselves?

I didn't give up, and beat it in around an hour on normal. Based on my results, it doesn't think I did very well. Level 48 and level 50 are really, really tough.

I tried it on hard and gave up on level 3. Wow, that is stupid hard.

Level 50 is too hard. I wanted to win. Instead, I give up.

48 and 50 are indeed quite hard. 49 was fun though. But seriously, the colors? Especially given that it's going to take at least 20 minutes to get through level 50? Is the developer color blind and pissed off at everyone who's not? That was just brutal.
posted by krakedhalo at 10:05 PM on September 9, 2010

So far the hardest thing is looking at the constant color rotation. I gave up early.

The sequel.

Holy crap, I just finally beat the hard levels. 90 minutes and 857 deaths.

And seriously, prefpara, I hate you for pointing out the sequel.
