It isn't the circus YOU remember... Why would the head of Ringling Bros.-Barnum & Bailey hire a former top CIA honcho to torment a hapless freelance writer for eight years? Plus, some goodies on the Felds family - makes for a long but interesting read... Interesting... I always knew there was a reason people feared clowns but now it seems you need to fear the circus??? What has the world come to, I ask you???

I was once in a car accident with a truck owned by a circus. No clowns, but a semi loaded with porta potties turned too wide, hit me, and took out my headlight and bumper.

The circus act was trying to get the responsible party to cough up the dough to pay for the damages. (The hired driver couldn't find any insurance info.)

3. You fear the sight of Tammy Faye Baker or the wife of any televangelist for that matter.

Does this mean I have Coulrophobia? But... I like clowns! They're funny!

Oh, god. Killer Klowns. I saw a part of that at a babysitters once, and it scared the crap out of me. It's the part where one of them punches someone's head off. Had nightmares for a while.

Does anyone recall the episode of Star Trek Voyager with the Clowns (and Michael McKean)? Scariest episode!
