A special plea from me to everyone. Search! Search! Search! Meatfilter before you post. The script can even look for metadata, so you can search on a URL to be absolutely sure.
I don't want to get down on anyone in particular. I've posted redundant links myself. But, I think we should all think about how redundant posting consumes public resources. (OK, it doesn't consume that much...)
