I'm having trouble deciding whether these people have too much spare photography equipment, or just the right amount of photography equipment.

That was pretty enjoyable. Be on the lookout for the OK Go references about two thirds (or so) of the way in. Four little dudes dressed in white with different colored paint splotches. Any idea how many attempts it took for this to come out right?

That seemed like a really inefficient way to take a photograph. Have they looked into getting a consultant in there to cut costs?

I'm pretty sure it was one of the lens mugs you can find in a bunch of places. I definitely shuddered when they did that though.

2500 billable hours later the process now has 14 additional steps but is at least fully documented.

Believe it or not, post 9-11 this is the actual process you have to go through to get a passport photo.
