Molly Crabapple is awesome. Timelapse film of artists at work are awesome. Therefore, this is awesome, and I need some new adjectives.

I have the artistic talent of a rubber stamp but in the Molly C video I find it fascinating how she alternates between blocking out new territory of the hair and refining the details on the face where she started, and I find that this closely parallels the way I shift tasks as I'm working on a project even though I'm writing software instead of drawing a picture. It could only be closer if it showed her leaving the sketchboard and surfing the internet occasionally too.

Very cool, but I kind of wish they had a timelapse counter so we can see how long it took the artist to actually complete the sketch -- was that ten minutes, or an hour?
