so *that's* what Tumblr's good for!

If you like clothes, Tumblr has something for you. Historical costume, vintage fashion, awesome cosplay, and sheer costume-related nerdery abound.

Where to start? Depends on what you want.

For historical and vintage fashion, OMG That Dress, linked above, is the grandmama of the genre. But there are plenty of others. Not to mention artists' interpretations, and hidden histories.

As for cosplay, it's hard to resist adorable children. Some costumes are awfully impressive, even when you don't know what the hell they're dressed as.

And, of course, in any discussion of costume nerds I would be remiss in forgetting the fantastic Fashion it So.

Um...is the little girl in costume? Or is it because it's just a really cool dress? Or...?

Pretty sure she's Buttercup from the Powerpuff Girls, Kitteh.

And everyone knows Buttercup was the coolest. That's a damned fact.

God, that should tell you how long it's been since I've seen anything referencing the Powerpuff Girls.

Oh, migawd, and I thought I had it bad with Pinterest already, when I only knew a couple of these. Luckily it's evening here, so... there went my evening :)
