Omg we got a kitten yesterday! We went to the liquor store and the pet store that has Toronto Cat Rescue kitties for adoption on weekends is right next door and we came home with bourbon and Fairfax. Pico and Wilshire have a little bro now. Map for reference.
He is a bit too speedy to sit on the scanner at the moment.
It would make my goddamn day if you all favourited my cats today. Thanks MeFi.

rtha, they are all tuxedos. Over the years I have taken notice of which MeFites also have tuxedos and I have always been a fan of Yorvit! (and of all your posts and comments as well, but especially ones where he makes an appearance)
oneswellfoop, I vetoed Sepulveda because I thought it made a terrible cat name, though my partner asked again this morning "are you sure we don't want to name it Sepulveda? because then we can play Pico and Sepulveda all the time." We play it enough for Pico on her own. :)

I don't know - just getting out of junior high made it seem like heaven in comparison. I'm pretty convinced that Jr. high/middle school is basically meant to separate kids from tormenting elementary schoolers and from getting beat up by older kids they've provoked with their nonsense.

mistersquid, you could think of it as a regional dialect difference. meh-ta-pil-ta vs meh-ta-pil-tuh. and yes, I sometimes abandon all romanization systems for an overuse of aitches.

Oh man, just going back and looking at the actual cat scan site and at the bottom, it was a part of a web ring. A web ring. That is a thing that I totally forgot was a thing and would probably have a hard time even explaining to anyone born in the 90s.
