Does catcalling actually work, like, on any woman ever? Because I can't see how it possibly could. David Cross has a great bit on catcalling that expresses this same confusion.

How often does catcalling actually happen? I've lived in crowded cities and small towns, most with busy neighborhoods filled with street life, and I've only heard catcalling a few times; usually kids screaming something out of a car. Maybe it's just a New York City thing that folks there think is universal.

A few of my friends are on this - in fact, I play in a band with the frontwoman/bassist from Nit Right. That aside, this compilation has a bunch of really cool stuff on it, though I feel a little like they're not doing themselves any favours with the length of the whole thing. While it would suck to have to turn a bunch of people down, I think you'd get more people listening to a more album-length, focused compilation. Five hours is somewhat intimidating as a prospect.
