Pitfall. Hard to believe it's been twenty years.

That's a fantastic use of shockwave, it's perfect. I can't belive it's been 20 years either, I remember getting this game when it was brand new.

So does anyone have the perfect map or moves guide to pitfall? I never did solve it back when I had it on the 2600, and I think it's payback time.

You shouldn't have stayed the hand of vengance. The 2600 has been waiting for you for quite a while.

Pitfall is everything the 2600 stood for: mindless, fun, addicting, and unwinnable by mere mortals. Oh yeah, and fun.

My dad and I mapped out all of Pitfall the year it came out. Has it really been 20 years? We made a map of it: the whole shebang. We kept track of all the screens on what must've been a TRS-80, maybe using Visicalc. I remember realizing that I'd "magellaned" the thing one night at, like, 3 am. Playing the animated version, I wondered if they used the original layout. And I wonder what happened to that map...

I must have downloaded the shockwave plug-in 300 times in the last two years. What a pain.

Anyway, this was worth it. Those alligators, man I used to hate them.

I couldn't do the croc's in '82 and I can't do 'em now. And I keep missing the sodding rope. Oh yeah, and I came into work this weekend to work dammit! :)
