Yooge thanks to awesome MeFite Johnny Wallflower for finding a version of this video that avoids the gory animal-rights videos that appear in the original YouTube link that I posted (and deleted) last week. (Caution: If you pop out the YT player you might find those links.)

Yup, getting my cat a pig immediately.

I don't think it's "love"; I thiink the pig is trying to eat the cat.

Why must we fight over bunnies in dresses and pigs in dresses? Can't we enjoy both? Let all cute animals who are so moved wear dresses! Also uncute animals as well, for that matter.

Just a PSA for anyone considering a pig that micropigs are a lie and they all turn into macropigs.

Cute piggy!

Potbellied pigs remain pretty micro, right?

I mean relative to other breeds who grow to be like 400 or 500 pounds, yeah. But a grown potbellied pig is certainly not someone you'd compare to a teacup. Here's a field of them for scale and reference. I don't believe they were even all fully grown at the time.

Of course that isn't to say that you can't be very happy with a huge pig friend, cf. Esther. But a lot of sanctuaries end up getting fully grown pigs from people who thought they were adopting a pig who'd get like 50 pounds tops and ends up getting way bigger than they were prepared to handle, so I thought it'd be good to leave a quick caution. :)

love the post title. New Ins & Outs for 2016-- I wouldn't want to be caught doing the whole bunny-in-a-dress-thing which is so over.

Awwww. Our dog took a liking to the runty piglet we brought inside for a week, and I swear the dog helped bring the little guy back to life with the all-over-lickage. The cats were not enthusiastic. So glad to see two creatures in need of comfort find one another!

I had a friend in Austin who lived in a one bedroom apartment with a dog, a cat, and a full grown pig. The pig was left by an ex-girlfriend. Not sure how he managed all that, or what the landlord thought.

I just made a noise that I'm pretty sure only dogs can hear.
