Lego Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus

A Texan sheriff stumbles upon a vast secret civilization. A loophole enables the resurrection of one of history's greatest monsters. And it's all in Lego. Harry Potter Comics (page one), currently over seven hundred pages (three 'books' going on four) long. (Warning: spoilers for the official books; current character page spoils comic but there's different versions for each 'book').

I would think that at this point spoilers for the official books would pointless. Then again, I thought Donald Trump had zero chance of securing the GOP nomination.

I'm gonna be honest, this FPP really needs a selection of comics that demonstrate how good this is, because not many people are going to dig through 700 comics to decide if it's for them. You might have the Lego/Harry Potter demographic on lock but there's a lot of people that might realize they're into it if they're given more of a taste than "here's the beginning good luck"

I wish I had that much time on my hands. And that many Legos resembling children's fiction characters. There would be so much dramatic tension in my The Lego Boxcar Children Go To Mars chapbook -- !

Shepherd: Prevention is the best cure, i.e. messing with a Time-Warner property instead of a - gulp - Disney property.

Exactly what Mr.Encyclopedia says.

I find these a little too busy visually for my taste, so I'll pass, but A for effort indeed

I've read quite a bit of it now, and it's pretty good! I do agree that it's a bit cluttered visually - not sure why they don't give the panels a bit more room to breathe on the page - and it suffers from a weakness that just about all actiony webcomics have - since the action is so clear in the creators' minds, and the panels require such effort to produce, a good deal gets left "on the cutting room floor" so to speak, so it can be hard for a reader to follow the action. Of course, it's a free webcomic, I can hardly complain, but just thought I'd mention. I love some of the things they are doing with the characters (interested to see where the relationship between Ron and his daughter goes) and the Lego builds.

Partway through and they decide to run with the "Muslim fundie terrorist" gag. Lovely.

Yeah, I have to unfavorite this over the Muslim terrorist caricatures.
