Admittedly, they are not bulldozers, so, the Internet has added the fight music from Amok Time.

This is what I would do if I were rich and bored.

I'm actually extremely disappointed to find that this shows front loaders pushing at each other, and not a video of excavators duking it out like giraffes.

Reality shouldn't be taking script notes from a 13 year old version of myself.

Oh, so that's what Shane McMahon was doing in China for all those years.

This is why you have to get a breathalyzer before you do those heavy equipment driving attractions in Vegas.

Why is this not a thing?

Cost.
But, given the end of the mining boom:
Make it so.

Why is this not a thing?

It is a thing (or was), but remotely controlled in miniature and gloriously creative: Robot Wars. (Wikipedia warning: "This article may contain an excessive amount of intricate detail that may only interest a specific audience.")

Is anyone else disappointed they didn't start linking themselves to each other to build a giant fighting robot?

Why is this not a thing?

If you like this but don't live in the midwest, you can thus comprehend the giddy amazement involved in watching a combine demolition derby in person. Videos aren't even close to doing justice to experiencing it first hand, which I've done a couple times, jaw hanging open and gobsmacked. Those are huge machines crashing into each other.

Darn, suppose I should have done a FPP

Dang. I've been to my fair share of demo derbies, but never one with combines.

One day...

Fans of this might like the Japanese show ほこ×たて, "hokotate (spear vs shield)" where they used to pit (mostly) industrial companies against each other.

Classic Drill vs Metal episode. (there were several rematches)

toughest umbrella vs strongest wind machine

Iron wrecking ball vs indestructible wall

and so on...
