My favorite part of this is, "Terrific stuff from the cat" after it gets to the top of the scoreboard.

I did like how they announced that they would not be activating the homerun sculpture during the game after the cat hid out there.

Sportscasters gonna sportscast, I guess.

My second* favorite example of this was when the skycam at some college bowl game crashed to earth, and they started dragging it by retracting it's cables. Sean McDonough (one of my favorites) started in with the "Skycam is at the 40, the 30, the 25, I think it's gonna go all the way!" almost immediately.

*First will always and forever be "Here comes the pizza!"

I think that's just panting; the poor thing is probably dry-mouthed with fear, and hot too. Probably incredibly thirsty also.

Don't have the link handy now, but I looked at some articles last night and one said that the cat eventually ran away into the night. I'm imagining that he went to whatever place he already knew, found some nice water to drink, and went on living his life.

"Yeah, I don't have work tomorrow, or ever really but for certain not tomorrow, so I went and checked out the Marlins tonight. Buncha fake fish all over, the ball never got close enough to pounce on, so I got bored. Know what I did? I totally streaked. Right across the outfield, naked as the day I was born. Security couldn't even touch me. Got vertical on them just to rub it in, made a few faces at the cameras, then blew that popsicle stand. Fun night. You should come with next time. Make you fucking famous. They call me Rally Cat now."

The way the kitty was kinda panting at the top of the statue made me worry for it. Looked like what dehydrated cats do. :/

I don't even care if the Marlins are lying to the world. It makes me feel better to think that the kitty is safe and has a new home.

Inspired by Marlins Cat, a feline in Yokohama took in a baseball game (no word on where the cat ended up after it leapt into the camera well, but it didn't seem as stressed out as Marlins cat, so I feel ok telling myself it just went on with its catting adventuring.)
