How Microsoft sells Windows upgrades for Macs. Also, how Microsoft wants to sell software licenses for people who don't even have computers. via LGF

You need to count 100% of all Pentiums, Power Macs and iMacs.

so i guess it does pay to use AMD

Ahh, the Register, Daily News of tech mags.

Its not Windows, its MS software in general, most of which runs on Macs. Also, as the article mentions, this is ONE of their licensing options, there are others for educational institutions. MS IS charging substantially lower rates to education, I'm sure they'd also be welcome to purchase corporate licenses without this restriction.

I'm certainly not saying its nice, or I find it particularily charming, but its not the "Micro$oft is EVIL!" item its being made out to be.
