Thank you, Kenny!

Farmers don't normally name their poultry and livestock, but that rule doesn't apply at Caenhill Countryside Centre, an educational farm in Wiltshire, UK. Chris Franklin lets the gang out of the barn to start a new day and greets each one of the ducks, geese, chickens, and goats by name: Bunson, Bo, Cuthbert, Owen, Jean, Cee Cee, Catherine, Gilbert and Sully, Bumblebee, Lucy, Socks (the kitten), Kenny, and the rest. Thank you, Kenny!

I'm so in love with this little farm - his enthusiasm at seeing who's first out of the gate every morning is so genuine and charming. Thanks for posting these!

I've been watching the videos on twitter too. There is something very entrancing about it. Like my old ancient caveman brain is like yes, this is very good, I like to see this, this is all great stuff, love it.
I also like thinking about the ducks and chickens as tiny little domesticated dinosaurs when I see them looking at Chris and making decisions about what to do.

I also find the little “conversations” between Chris and the animals utterly delightful.
This is a wonderful escape when you just need to get away from the awfulness. Thanks so much for sharing this!
