A recent thing went around twitter that was six blank boxes and was available for artists to post that said "give me six characters to draw as fan art". Responses were huge and artists chose and created a vast twitter gallery of six characters from anything you can imagine in their style. The library is vast and entertaining (and to a tiny extent NSFW). Enjoy!

I liked this. Probably because I recognize all six. But also great capture of each character.

From what I saw most of the styles were "anime" and I'm not a big fan. So I'm going to link to this one for the great Arizaphale and Jack Sparrow, this one for sheer cuteness, and this one that appears to be anime characters drawn in a non-anime style.

Awesome, but needs a filter for "6 indistinguishable Fire Emblem characters". (I mean, that's Nintendo's fault, but still)

Also, being an old guy, I was not in touch with the zeitgeist and didn't realize that Howl was such a high-tier crush object.

I was so pleased when Chris Bishop did Tank Girl* and Hellboy in his distinctive (and decidedly NOT anime) style. A style that you've probably seen if you've visited the PBS Kids website — especially their “Kart Kingdom” game — in the past 20 years.
*I was doubly chuffed because I suggested Tank Girl.

An artist I like for her Wynonna Earp fanart and professional art, Lora Innes, has also been working on the challenge.

However, I was hoping to see a lot more variation of styles and subjects with this project. I don't care for anime, or most anime-derivitive art.

Mine, if you're curious. SFW; Brooklyn (Gargoyles), Mok, Maleficent, Bob (Animal Crossing), The Chamberlain (Dark Crystal), and Lupin III.

I had a bunch of good suggestions and I keep on being kinda tempted to go back and pick six more, especially after one of my friends did that with hers today...

I do apologize for the porn. I found that looking at "Latest" gave a different remix that might be less porny? I never know if everyone sees the same things on twitter anyway.
