Ever wondered what the contents of a twenty-five-year-old can of Spider-Man pasta look like?

For science.

Still better than Spider-Man 3.

Fizz, does this can have an awesome sequence where Emo-Peter does a dance number? I think not.

Much as I hate linking to Twitter threads, you could have just linked to the Twitter thread.

It's what Gwen Stacy would have wanted.

Steve1989MREInfo has opened older. And while they're in better shape visually, they're no less inedible.

Wabbittwax, New England Wildlife has you covered.

From the title I thought this might have been a Potus45 thread.

And provoke whining? No thank you.

I hate 50 plus year old lemon drops from a can that was in a FEMA shelter once. Which is wholly out of character for me, usually I throw food out 2 milliseconds after best by date.

The New England Wildlife guy needs to understand cross-contamination before he goes putting things in peitri jars.

Fascinating though.

Quite recently, a grocery near me was selling packages of Space Jam-themed gum, which came in little brown plastic boxes molded in the shape of Michael Jordan's head. Just, like, selling at the checkout counter, for a buck.

And provoke whining? No thank you.

You would just let Gwen die, wouldn’t you, Johnny Goblinflower?

I just wanna say that I love dinosaur Dracula so much and I love that he is still doing the same shit on the internet for like 20 years.

While I was reading this and looking at the pictures (why did I do that?), unbeknownst to me my face morphed into this one.

25 years, huh? So the eighties.

(Sees back of can with optima font, does arithmetic)

Fuck I’m old

And if you're curious, here's an entire channel devoted to a guy opening and trying a lot of old food. Some of it is really old. Like bad mom joke old.

This was probably Ask post 20 years ago and half of the replies said "Hell, I eat 25 year old spiderman pasta all the time".

+50 for the Jordy Verrill reference! Also I have memories of eating pasta which looked super similar to that... artifact.

One of the beauties of video is you can watch people do the kind of things you'd never do yourself safe in the knowledge you won't smell whatever 25 year-old Spiderman pasta smells like.

Ashens eating crazy stuff again. Includes jolly old pasta.

I want to thank you all for sending me down this rabbithole of the "eating old food" influencers on youtube.

And as a collector, it really eats me to see them opening up these cans with a can opener. It is cool to see how well the various cans, and contents, survive though.

There is a show on the misnamed "History Channel' called "Eating History" where two guys eat all kinds of old food, Ewwwww. But they do warn you not to do this at home,
