Bandcamp's share of sales going to the NAACP today

Bandcamp's June 19th NAACP Legal Defense Fund Donations "Today, from midnight to midnight Pacific Time, we will be donating 100% of our share of sales to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund (and we’re doing this every June 19th from here on out). Below you’ll find a list of artists and labels preparing special releases for today, including those donating their share to organizations in support of racial justice and change."

Might I humbly suggest:

clipping. - Chapter 319 (released today)

or Meet Me @ The Alter (older, but so, so great)

or Bad Cop Bad Cop (also older, but so great)

Note: clipping. is also donating proceeds to various orgs. I'm not sure about MMATA or BCBC, I just included them because I like them.

In an email to subscribers, Luakabop said "We’ll be donating our label share as well. So if you’re thinking about buying something from us on our Bandcamp, consider doing so today."

Luaka Bop has also donated to two organizations: Campaign Zero and the Okra Project. Campaign Zero is working to end the police brutality that terrorizes Black communities and takes the lives of George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery and Tony McDade and Breonna Taylor and countless others. The Okra Project is addressing the crisis faced by Black Trans people, one home cooked meal at a time.

For a very long list of Black artists and companies, here's a volunteer-managed spreadsheet 2000+ Black Producers / Artists / Labels, which doubled in size since it started about 15 days ago (previously). The spreadsheet also includes genres and other notes, to help you find somewhere to start, or you can browse for artists and labels you already know and love.

I'm buying NNAMDÏ's 2020 album BRAT today. It's my favorite album of 2020 so far.

I'll check out the suggestions in the OP too.

My Bandcamp wishlist's getting pretty thin after a couple of #bandcampfridays, but today I grabbed a couple things by black artists:

BLAKMOTH: The Space Between
BLAKMOTH: NINE
Nihiloxica: Kaloli

Also, that Meet Me @ The Altar EP is the perfect soundtrack for attacking and dethroning god, it's so good!

Chapter 319 - On all days thereafter, sales of these two tracks will be periodically collected and donated to organizations dedicated to racial justice.

Zulu (not fucking around)

Kamasi Washington (been meaning to buy this for a while!)
