Aram Bedrosian

Aram Bedrosian plays amazing music on solo electric and acoustic bass guitar (with occasional collaborations). My current favorite - Weightless. His YT Channel.
When I first heard these tracks, I had zero idea they were all played by one person on a bass guitar.

Acoustic? bass guitar. No. But quite nice.

Well, maybe you don't like it, and prefer some kind of private vocabulary, but that is what the instrument played here is called.

Obligatory
And more time passed, and, having little else to do, the man came to practice upon the bass. And lo, the man came to have upon him a great set of chops.
And he did play faster and faster until the notes rippled like a breeze through the heavens.
And God heard this sound that sounded something like the wind, which He had created earlier. It also sounded something like the moving of furniture, which He hadn’t even created yet, and He was not so pleased. And He spoke to the man, saying, “Don’t do that!”.
I can't find this on Tony Levin's site anymore, but, it turns out, the "TIME FOR SOME GAME THEORY" dude has it covered.

Thelonius: 1. I didn't say I didn't like it. 2. The video you referenced was a different instrument than the one in the op. The one in the op has magnetic pickups that are being amplified electronically. (Wait, am I turning this into reddit?)
