Those birds are definitely dressed up as Prince, not the other way around.
Also, pretty!

I was fortunate enough to see Prince live on his last tour. My wife made a last-minute decision to buy tickets, long after they had gone on sale. So we were way off to the side of the stage... BUT we were only around 20-40 meters from the stage (hard to estimate, but certainly close enough to make out facial features and details), and only about 15-20 rows up. Turns out the stage jutted way into the audience, so our last-minute tickets turned out to be fantastic!
Sure, we were off to the side. But Prince and his band were really mobile, playing to every side of the stage. In short—the seats were great. And the show was spectacular. Jennifer Hudson made an appearance and did a song with him. I'm 50 now, so Prince was hugely popular when I was in high school. I was never a huge fan, but this show really made me appreciate his music and showmanship. It was about three hours long, and more like a crazy dance party with a few Big Hits thrown in to give the entire performance some structure. A truly memorable show.
He wore a pretty low-key (for Prince) bright yellow outfit and even his hair was short and understated. But he was indeed like a funk-rock-soul "canary" on stage. He died around a year after this concert if my recollection is correct. I became a fan from that show.

These are GREAT. I love all the yellow (and very much the tiny round black and white birb).
(And I am among the Twitter averse, so I especially appreciate the thread reader link.)
Thank you for posting this, barrett caulk!

Such relatededly, only with sea slugs instead of birds, and for Bowie. Bowiebranchia: Nudibranchia or other opisthobranchia compared to the various looks of David Bowie.
Bowie sea slugs never made the blue, how can this be?
