Saw the video and immediately forwarded to a good friend in Weird Cover Band. He said he was right in the middle of learning the drum line to Barracuda...
Awesome stuff, and wonderful to explore the Preveouslies.

To respond months late to a comment in the 'Dare to be Stupid' thread:

A shameless-merch-franchise-themed cover of a famous parody artist's impression of a band devoted to satirizing capitalist excess is more layers of meta than I can handle without at least two more coffees.

You can be a coffee achiever!

I see your Gwar's Kansas and raise you Lizzy Borden's Jefferson Airplane.

It's a bit too straight for me. They should have at least picked a Transformers appropriate song, or changed the lyrics. The costumes are awesome though.

I would recommend their performances of "The Touch" and "Dare" then! :-)

You want unlikely covers? (And that's not even including my personal favorite.)
