This is neat. I can't decide if using the beacon feels like cheating.

Okay - how do you DO.....ANYTHING?

I am in the prelude where you have to "cut the crops", but....how do you do that? What buttons am I meant to be pushing and what movements am I meant to be making to make things happen?

If you hover over a stalk that's next to an empty area, it will light up and you can cut it by clicking on it.

Thanks - and ultimately I figured out more. Kinda cool!

While I did figure everything else out, I do wish it had been slightly less opaque at the outset - the only instruction you get is "clear the crops". I assume that this is going to get some non-regular-gamers, so they may need a little more guidance than that:

"You are Peter Talisman. Your job is to harvest the wheat; you can harvest 20 stalks at a time by [describe what to do], and then you bring them to the granary. You can hire peasants to help you once you've harvested enough, and as you go you can even buy donkeys, bags, and shoes for them and harvest even faster. You may also uncover things waiting under the crops...some of which you may want to save."

I enjoyed it. I felt the game ran out of upgrades a little quickly, but it pretty much took the length of the songs, so...?

I do not understand what this was about, but I very much enjoyed it!

Thanks! I am pretty sure the music is by Samuel Organ, whose band The Physics House Band are really great. Check em out!
