Ah, good, I'd lost track of eir work since I kind of phased out of using tumblr. Eir work reminds me a lot of Lucy Knisley's.

I am COVID era ARMY and the little line about "the world may be burning but at least we can watch Jin make pajeon" is exactly my initial relationship with BTS. Then the songs and tons of content telling me it was okay to be sad and frustrated but they loved me anyway and by the way, why don't you love yourself too....yeah. Add in the Kdramas and a new passion for cooking and you have my last two years.

I know we are going to be wrapped in trauma and pain from the Covid years and some of us may never get back to who we were before, but I am forever grateful a friend sent me a BTS Video in 2021 because they not only helped me through the pandemic but a lot of other bullshit in life that I'm not sure I would have seen the other side of without them.
