The Legacy of Boris Karlov, Bulgarian Folk Accordionist.

Makedonsko Horo is danced as a gankino horo, a Bulgarian folk dance written in 11 = 2+2+3+2+2 time, also known as a kopanica.

The links here are great, with Karlov playing a Daichovo, and other Bulgarian music and dance, notably the Bulgarian state choir, styled as the Mysterious Bulgarian voices. Daichovo is in 9/8 with a pattern counted 2+2+2+3 or "quick-quick-quick-slow".

Boris Karlov-Kjustendilska Rčenica in a blistering pace. 7/8, danced as quick-quick-slow.
