If you like that, try the amazing Levers game and Vector Park. Does anyone know more about the guy who created this site? posted by waxpancake at 2:02 PM on August 19, 2003
how long does this thing run? It just turned into a bunch of boxes.... kind of cool. posted by tomplus2 at 2:06 PM on August 19, 2003

I sized Egg down to a tiny little "pet" window in the lower right of my browser so I could keep working while it continued to mutate, but my poor PII-400 work machine took a bad performance hit when Egg started rolling around on a wheel and emitting a white gradiated smoke plume. What happens next? posted by brownpau at 2:30 PM on August 19, 2003
Amazing.
I loved it when the three legs broke off and hopped away on their own. Thanks for the link riffola! posted by Pharkas at 2:37 PM on August 19, 2003
[spoilers for brownpau]: A box with leggs then back to the egg. posted by bonehead at 2:40 PM on August 19, 2003
help! I have eight objects and only five hangers, I killed the snowman with the lava rock, and God's too heavy. posted by eddydamascene at 2:47 PM on August 19, 2003
Most cute. It took me a while (and an accidental bump of the mouse when I reached for coffee) to realise that certain parts of it interact with the cursor. Did I mention it was cute? posted by dg at 2:48 PM on August 19, 2003
Whenever it turns into a teardrop shaped blob with a neck and a conical head that bounces around like flubber on a diet, the head will follow the motion of the mouse. posted by Grod at 2:52 PM on August 19, 2003
eddydamascene: here is a levers hint
you eventually want the snowman to melt, it's key to the solution. posted by o2b at 3:13 PM on August 19, 2003
All of it interacts with the cursor, except when it's in the middle of changing. posted by Hildago at 3:16 PM on August 19, 2003
I thought the inertia of the little dude was great - the way it followed your mouse pointer after adjusting for the change of direction rather than just zipping around after it. Nifty. posted by GriffX at 4:09 PM on August 19, 2003
argh.. now I'm playing Levers and it's driving me nuts.
I melted the snowman, but I'm still missing a place to hang his hat, and I still can't quite balance God (especially with those damn birds flying around). posted by nath at 4:42 PM on August 19, 2003
OMG! I didn't know the objects in Levers interacted!
The egg thing goes forever. All bits of it follow the mouse. I don't know how many things interact with clicks. It's a real time-waster, playing with it. :-) posted by five fresh fish at 7:16 PM on August 19, 2003
mega cool...thanks riffola! posted by madamjujujive at 8:16 PM on August 19, 2003
Hrm.. Ok I got all of the objects balanced (I think) on levers and the only thing that happened was the circle at the top had spinning cascading rays in it... kind of a anti-climatic end... anyone else get anything different? posted by asterisk at 8:54 PM on August 19, 2003
anyone else get anything different?
If you have sound on, you hear clapping.
I forgot to mention before that in this flash, you can click, drag, and toss a ball and the little baseball with propellers (one of the egg's incarnations) chases it down and tries to balance it on his nose. He'll play by himself also -- best flash pet I've seen. posted by eddydamascene at 9:43 PM on August 19, 2003
You can also have some fun by teasing him (it?) by bouncing and/or holding the ball just out of his reach, or bouncing it on his head hard, making him fall over. posted by dg at 12:20 AM on August 20, 2003
God, someone help me with this Levers thing. The snowman melted, but what do I do with the hat that's left? posted by chiababe at 7:11 AM on August 20, 2003
oh, so cool...so very, very, cool. I miss flash fridays... posted by dejah420 at 9:43 AM on August 20, 2003
