Caribou Coffee is smacked with a lawsuit for doing nothing when four employees complained of same-sex harassment from their boss. Among the allegations, one claims that the woman "[invited] one of the plaintiffs to her house to engage in some type of sexual activity with her dogs." You've gotta love the local tv news treatment of any given situation. Streaming video also available.

Outside of the canine angle, I'm not sure what's so novel here. Sexual harasment is not neccessarily about gender. It's about sexuality and power. As women gain power in the business in the world, some will use it wisely, others will abuse it. Women are nothing less or more than human.

Geez, the "english" in that article is quite horrid. No wonder they're in the TV biz; wacky grammar generally goes unnoticed as the talking heads move on to the next breaking story.

I am most definitely not a lawyer, but I seem to recall a precedent-setting case not too far back that basically said there is no such thing as "same-sex sexual harassment".

Any legal scholars remember this one?

Never mind. Senility has set in.

This is probably a transcript from a television broadcast, thus explaining the poor grammar. Spoken and written English are two very different things.
