Speaking of pedantic: Trash != offal. I went through quite a few screens and didn't see any offal. I realize you were going for assonance there, but this is a touchy distinction for many dumpster divers (as opposed to hungry homeless people), who specifically look for, and value, non-organic trash.

I think the black background really contributes to how effectively artistic these items are. I checked some of the first pictures in the archive which didn't have it yet and it wasn't nearly the same experience.
