CUTE! Oh, I want one...now if only they did plush toys of obscure invertebrate phyla - I mean, come on tardigrades (or water bears as they are commonly known) are just waiting for this kind of treatment!

This reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Mr. Burns goes in for a checkup and finds out that he has "everything" (including hysterical pregnancy) and the doctor uses the Too Many Germs Trying To Get Through The Door analogy to show why he hasn't been affected.

I never thought I'd be saying this, even on Metafilter, but the Black Death is cute. Nice link.

Winner of the "Oh. My. God. I want one of each!" category! (But especially the plague and ebola...too marvelous.)

When my son was born last year, many, many of my friends sent Cthulhu and related stuffies. Funniest baby picture ever was the boy chewing on the tentacles of evil. Even Cthulhu must bow before a teething child.

These are cute, but I do think that the Staph aureus should be purple, not red. Pink/red diplococci mean something entirely different, as any microbiologist will tell you!

See previous. ;)
They have added some neat new ones since the last time I checked, though.
When you have all 9 (at the time) piled up together, it really is too cute.
