Stick Figure Fight Club. For those wondering where the inspiration for yesterday's Homestar Runner cartoon came from, now you know. (Flash, sound)

PrinceValium, you have openly and obviously violated the first and second rules of Stick Figure Fight Club.

I'm not sure what the penalty for that is, but it might involve a stiff debate on the Middle East Situation with Stinkoman.

Sorry, brother. You should have known.

I'm sure there are a number of haters out there, but I have to say that Homestar Runner is one of the few things that makes the web worthwhile.

Ancient but brilliant! I'm glad someone finally posted it here.

Silly MoonPie!

My mighty punch-kicks and multiattack combos render oogachakababy TOTALLY VANQUISHED!

Or, at least, you know, my anime version of myself does. I let him out every... once in a while.

Would anyone want to see Homestar Runner get more famous, mainstream, and budgeted? E.g. - like a Cartoon Network show or something? I'm torn between enjoying their relative obscurity and seeing what the Brothers Chap could do with a real budget and full time animator jobs.

H*R would make a great Adult Swim show -- they should write and animate a couple of quarter-hour episodes and see if they can get 'em in front of someone at the network.

Assuming they'd want to do that, of course.

1st rule of Hug Club: tell everybody about Hug Club.
2nd rule of Hug Club: if it is your first night, you WILL be hugged.

I've already forgotten where that's from.

Hey, a Xiaoxiao! Neat! There are quite a few more where that came from.

"dot dot dot" ... I died when I saw that reference to the original Ninja Gaiden. Also, anyone else notice the similarity of the voices for the Strong Bad and HomeStar-alike characters to the voices of Kaneda and Tetsuo from the English dub of Akira? Admittedly this is much more painfully obvious in the original "Japanese Cartoon" SB Email, but it still tickles me.

Damn straight. I keep meaning to get a Strongbad t-shirt when it's in my mind while I've got the wedge out.

I think the Homestarrunner cartoon in question is really more a of referance to DragonBall Z.

Just to satisfy that mymemory isn't failing me I downloaded an NES emulator and the Ninja Gaiden 1 ROM. It's identical, shot-for-shot. I (heart) the bros. chaps.
