taz, can you point to some of the blogs and/or illustrations that you liked? I checked out three blogs at random and didn't see anything I'd be remotely interesting in returning to. Maybe it's a just a difference of taste.

Alms, perhaps it's the idea behind it that's very very cool and not the actual content that's presently there. Where You Stumble might appeal to people who like kittens and bunny rabbits, but it's so warm and fuzzy, now I need to go do something decadent and depraved just to get this annoying warm fuzzy feeling outta me. Yuck!

I really like vitriolica webb's ite and Everyday Matters, to point out a couple... and yeah, I do think the idea is great because I'm always happy when I happen upon an illustration blog, so for me it's nice to find a collection of 'em.
