These are awesome and in some cases, really inspiring. Thanks for the excellent links, RJ.

Wow. Oddly compelling, strangely fascinating. And I'm not even a font fanatic.

Great stuff, Robot Johnny. Thanks.

I was particularly intrigued by this image. Up to now I had no idea someone had actually made a marketable game out of "Flinch" - the one where you hold your hands out and the other person fakes smacking them until you flinch and they get a free smack.

What? What else could it be?

Because the more than 10,000 linked pictures (including the exhaustive and exhausting Typemuseum) apparently weren't enough, I googled up a few more.

Can someone explain why these are so beautiful and moving?

La nature est un temple où de vivants piliers
Laissent parfois sortir de confuses paroles;
L'homme y passe à travers des forets de symboles
Qui l’observent avec des regards familiers.

As a man employed with fonts, it's intriguing to see a community reaction to typography.

Rock on, type.

And one of my coworkers has a gallery online of Found Type from Stockholm which deserves some recognition.

Wow! Cool!

Thanks RJ!

You've inspired me to go out and take my own found typography shots. I can think of half a dozen straight away.

'cept now i want to see someone actually make some of those into fonts. that's sort of what i was expecting... fonts created from found type. guess i was a little disappointed to see just the type itself... but good stuff.
