Hey kids! Guess who's first cousins with our new Secretary of State? why, it's Vaginal Creme Davis! Juicy tidbits from the multitalented first cousin Ms. Rice would rather you not know about, and who wishes that Ms. Davis wouldn't mention to anyone. Very juicy, and NSFW probably. : >

Must be some kind of Urskek/Skeksis duality dealie like in The Dark Crystal. If there's a Gelfling among us, we need you now.

relation to our friend crash davis?

well, Jimmy Carter had Billy and Clinton had Roger, and Bush has Neil...

I'd be proud to call Ms. Davis a relative--she's very famous --and fun.

Vaginal Davis received a Ph.D in psychology from Columbia University in New York.

I love it when smart people are completely nuts.

So hawt. Suddenly I have a little more respect for Rice. Just a little. But I would have a lot more respect if she wasn't telling her cousin to ix-nay on the amedropping-nay. (Apologies for my pidgin pig-latin)

Don't we all have vaginal-like relatives?

this has got to be a hoax.

huh. You people understand the diffrence between being something and claming to be something don't you?

This is just too amusing. Before anyone goes nuts... what makes this so funny is not "haha look who she's related to" but more "haha look how much she doesn't want people to know who she's related to."

Kinda like that website that was "outing" gay republicans – it's about the hypocracy. At least, that's what I take away from it all. Meh.

Knowing Vag slightly and being familiar with her unique (to say the least) sense of humor, I'm pretty sure this is meant to be a put-on. I also think she's one of the most underrated twisted geniuses of our time, as anyone who's seen her performances or been to one of the parties (SFW) she hosts in LA can attest. Seriously.

Also, don't miss her Penii of the Stars audio expose (um, NSFW) for even more celebrity gossipy goodness ...

contra, is her stuff about celebs true or no?

I find it hard to believe that Vaginal Davis received a Ph.D in psychology from Columbia University in New York, given her inability to spell.
posted by exlotuseater at 9:49 PM on January 28, 2005

Anyone with a history working as staff in a university setting can attest to the fact that an M.D. or physics/chemistry/geology/pathology/music/art/psychology/architecture Ph.D. *might* face some challenges in the realm of spelling and/or grammar; his/her talents might lie elsewhere. As it is with Miz Davis.

My favorite line is, "Up until now I've been rather nice about it, and black drag queens are rarely nice." Two snaps up in a shock-n-awe formation.

(I'd always wondered who the "Vaginal Creme ___" was that Le Tigre was namechecking)

Well, there is actually a Le Rosey Swiss boarding school, so kudos on the research, but its scholarship program was only established in 2000. Vaginal Davis is a fabulous, fun, constructed character. A beautiful fiction.

Anyway, here's a kind of nice IHT article on her.

I've seen Vag's act, and I don't think you'd want to be caught taking her seriously.
But you never know...

I saw this earlier on the Wonkette. My BS meter is going off. I have a hard time believing this is true.

However, if it is, cool.

I'd like to think that this is true.

Hmmm, there is a sort of eyebrow-related resemblence in that pic on wonkette.....
Nah, it would be too good.

amberglow: I know a lot of celebs show up @ Vag's events, and she is something of an LA club fixture.

But as for all her celeb stories being true or not ... well, I think calling her "a beautiful fiction" as taz did sums it up pretty well.

Consider me duped if so. It's fantastic.

If Dr. Rice wants to keep VCD in the closet, she better have a *beeg* closet.

If it ain't true, it oughta be.

Good enough for me. I've therefore decided that it is true. ;-)

I'd give anything for some text wrapping extension action in firefox about now...

I do hope that VCD does some talkshows spouting this, true or not :)
