Collect Britain 'presents 90,000 images and sounds from the British Library, chosen to evoke places in the UK and beyond.' Dialects, gardens, sketches, stamps, and all kinds of stuff.

I'm sorry to say this is a double post, though it deserves a second outing as it didn't get much attention the first time round. The BL site is one to bookmark and revisit, as they keep adding new stuff.

Yes, it seems to have both collectbritain.com and collectbritain.co.uk as valid URLs... such is liff.
