As if living in NY wasn't hard enough,this poor guy seems to have gotten himself bitten by something nasty.

Usually, I hate the whole "blog as meta-fiction" thing, but this is saved by good writing and a nice sense of humor. It's a bit annoying that the archives make you start at the bottom, but it's still a fun read. Make sure to check the comments. I still can't decide if the teenagers are part of the fiction, or they thought it was real....

I'd find these a lot more believable if there was a chunk of real-life boring blog fare before they launched into their main "story"

Are you sure you don't mean "pseudo-fiction?" When you said, "meta-fiction," I thought "Oh! Fiction about fiction! This should be fascinating!" I was disappointed.

Well, it's not Pseudo fiction since, presumably, this guy wasn't kind of bitten by a werewolf. You're right, tho, it's not metafiction either.

I guess I meant radical experiments with form. Mind you, as a horror story, the 'diary' entry has a good pedigree. I think this has been linked on Meta before:

I've been doing something similar to this for my own satisfaction, and I started it all off with a few weeks of near-mind-numbingly-boring crap before getting into the good stuff.
Completely different theme though. Damn furries.

Ritch is a friend of mine, and I was pleased to hear he got his script optioned. He needs something to keep him from sitting around his apartment in his underwear.

He's also been a stand-up for years, and you can see him perform around the city fairly regularly.
