Are you an adult? Like to suck your thumb? Then you've got a new home on the Web! (Warning: circa 1992 web design). Be sure to check out adult thumbsucking poetry and short stories. Not to be confused with the new Keanu Reeves movie.

That's some really bad poetry.

She had sucked her thumb, knew not what to do.

Others looked at her dumb, “It’s not polite,”

ain’t that true?

So, hidden, beneath her woeful lip,

she came upon an interesting tip.

Her tongue served as well,

Now they all think her swell!

It's kind of sad... when you first start reading that site, you get the impression that it's a really positive thing that these people have come together to talk about their adult taboo. But then you read the site for a little while and realize that it doesn't seem to have been updated since 2001, with most of the updates happening in the 98-01 timespan. And then I got to thinking, "How tragic. This person creates this resource to help people stop feeling shameful about something they like, and then they abandon the site and don't touch it for 5 years."

And yes, that page design makes you want to cringe.

That Keanu movie is going to suck.

This page made me think of The Big Book Of British Smiles (scroll down on the page), which the dentist shows poor Lisa Simpson to convince her to get braces.

OMG, I thought this was a joke before I clicked that link.

I saw the "Thumbsucker" movie at Sundance. It's actually really, really good - based on a Walter Kirn novel. Check out the whole cast - Keanu just has a cameo.

Glad to hear that fungible. I'm looking forward to this film. The book was a great read and, with the exception of Keanu, the cast is quite good.
